It's Monday. That means I'm at the end of my work week while everyone else is beginning theirs. So while the rest of the office hasn't quite recovered from the weekend, I'm ready to get mine underway. On both sides, though, it results in a lack of attentiveness at work. Time to blog.

I find it interesting that I just used the word "blog" as a verb instead of a noun. Since it's sort of a made up word in the first place, I suppose there's no rule on its proper usage. Sooner or later, we'll probably find a way to use blog as an ajective, too. Then we can say, "I bloggishly blogged my bloggy blog today." Sounds like Smurf-speak.

I ate lunch at a place called Chappy's Deli. I had a club while Misty had some sort of sandwich with grilled chicken and cheese. We both enjoyed the food, but the waiter kept bringing me water instead of the lemonade I'd ordered. The first time it happened, he apologized and told me that I could keep the drink he'd brought by mistake. "It's on the house," he said. Wow. Free water, what a gesture.

After lunch, I stopped by AmSouth to deposit my paycheck. With a little shifting of the finances, it looks like I'm actually going to be able to pay both mortages this month. Needless to say, though, I don't want to have to do that for long. I hope my house sells soon.

Tonight we're supposed to try to move the last of the stuff from Misty's apartment. Oh, how I dread this project.
